Summer is in full swing and the Dirty Dog crew is busier than ever! Of course, we have been steam cleaning carpets, cleaning tile and grout, power washing and cleaning air ducts, but we have also been sealcoating driveways and making time to help out in the community too!
Community Service
Last month we spent some time working with the Boys and Girls Club in Harrisonburg for our community service project! They were getting their facility ready for the kids to come back for summer, so we helped them out by steam cleaning the carpets in their offices and all of the classrooms too! We Won an Award!
Our team was a winner of the Shenandoah Valley Best for the second year in a row for Best Carpet and Flooring Cleaner! As a locally owned and operated business that strives to provide our customers with the best experience and to help out in the community we are so grateful! To be recognized as one of Shenandoah Valley’s Best in both 2021 and 2022 is a huge accomplishment. Our crew works very hard to not only to clean carpets and flooring, but we specialize in exterior surface cleaning by pressure washing, soft washing, cleaning concrete driveways, patios and walkways! Project Highlight
We have done a lot of exterior cleaning this year using pressure washing and soft washing methods but our project highlight was “for the birds”! We had the opportunity to do some power washing for WHSV in downtown Harrisonburg, but we had an unforeseen challenge when we found a duck nesting with 7 eggs in the front of the building! We had to be very careful to get the job done, without harming the duck nest or running off the mother and father ducks! We were able to find a way to cover and protect the nest, while we worked around the area. Of course, the mother and father ducks watched over us from 10 – 15 feet away while we worked! The job turned out great, and the duck family was not harmed in the process!

We are excited to announce we have added a new service to our repertoire. We have invested in equipment to professionally clean windows, inside and out! With our system we use a special brush that is water fed and extends up to 50 feet! This system filters the water 3 times to purify it so that it dries almost completely spotless! We also have a screen cleaner that will allow us to safely clean your window screens. What about the inside? Well, we have a professional process to clean them too!
